Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Dog Roar is committed to making this website usable for every visitor, including people who use assistive technology. We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard set by the World Wide Web Consortium.

What we do

  • Server-render every page so assistive technology has full content from the start.
  • Use semantic HTML landmarks (header, main, footer) and a logical heading order on every page.
  • Provide a skip-to-content link and a visible focus indicator on every interactive element for keyboard users.
  • Label every form field, mark required inputs, and announce validation errors to screen readers.
  • Maintain a minimum 4.5:1 text-to-background contrast ratio across the site.
  • Provide alternative text on every meaningful image. Decorative images are marked so screen readers can skip them.
  • Honor the prefers-reduced-motion setting so animations are disabled for visitors who request it.

Known limitations

Accessibility is a continuous process. Some areas we are still improving:

  • Long-form blog posts and per-service detail copy are still being authored. As content lands we audit reading level and clarity.
  • The Google Maps embed on the contact page is a third-party iframe whose accessibility is governed by Google.

Contact us about accessibility

If you encounter a barrier on this site, or if you would like to request information in a different format, please reach out. We treat accessibility reports as priority issues and aim to respond within two business days.

Standard we follow

We target Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We test using a combination of automated tooling, keyboard-only navigation, and screen reader review across desktop and mobile.
