We start at the facility and proof the work outside. By the end of the program, you can walk into a Petco, an elevator, or a busy sidewalk and your dog still listens. Most dogs we meet have already been told the words a hundred times. The work is teaching the dog that the word actually means something every time, not just when treats are nearby. That's the difference between a trained dog and a dog that knows tricks.
