Group Classes: common questions

How big are your group classes?

Small on purpose. Dogs are matched by size, temperament, and skill level so the class never turns into chaos and every dog gets real attention. If your dog is reactive or fearful, we will start you in private lessons until you are ready to join a group.

When can a puppy start group class?

Once they have their first round of vaccinations, usually around 8 weeks. The 8 to 16 week window is the critical socialization period and a structured group is one of the best places to use it. Earlier is better.

Are group classes worth it if my dog already knows the basics?

Yes. Group classes proof obedience around real distractions, which is where most home-trained dogs fall apart. Our maintenance classes are also where Board & Train graduates keep their work sharp for life.

How much do group classes cost?

Group classes are quoted per session or in packages. Every Board & Train graduate gets six months of maintenance group classes free, then $25 per class to continue. Pricing for non-program clients is set on the consultation.
